Packed & Ready
The annual trek to Upstate NY will begin this morning and I am SO ready to be up there and relaxing.
Easton Mountain Retreat Center
Each year about 45-50 guys gather for four days of exploring their passion for knitting and all things fiber/fibre. The Men’s Spring Knitting Retreat will officially begin this coming Thursday, but I like to spend a few days before the retreat just kicking back with some friends and enjoying the serenity of Easton Mountain.
The car gets packed a bit like the Beverly Hillbillies in preparation to have the guys enjoy their time at the retreat.

Project bags, give-aways, printed agendas, name tags, spinning wheel, drum carder, swift, ball winder, candy, DVDs for Movie Night…and on and on.
The preparations and anticipation of the retreat are often as exciting and enjoyable as actually being there. I’m glad I could share a bit of it with you.
Current Knitting
I finished the niece blanket!

Yes, I finished the last sides of i-cord edging, sewed it up to the beginning of the edging and wove in some ends. I’m very pleased with how it came out and will enjoy showing it off at Show & Tell on Saturday at the retreat.
