This Saturday, September 9, 2017 I’ll be having breakfast and lunch and wandering the Garden State Sheep Breeder’s Festival for anyone interested in joining.
The Sheep Festival time will be approximate (based on how long breakfast takes) and will be very informal, since it’s difficult to navigate the vendor booths and sheep as a large group. I plan on heading home after lunch, but some folks may want to go back to the sheep festival. Feel free to leave a comment or message me on Facebook or send an e-mail if you plan on joining in for any of the events.
Current Knitting
Finished up the Color Block Scarf I showed as a WIP on Monday (including weaving in all ends!).
While the basic design is very simple, I love the strong colors and the yarn is incredibly soft, very warm and machine washable. I also decided I needed to make a dozen or so pairs of baby booties to sell at the craft shows.
I’m thinking that if folks like the Color Block Baby Blankets, they may not look enough like a baby gift without a pair of booties with them. Plus, this pattern knits up very quickly and having a spectrum of different colored booties will provide another quick-sell item at the table.
