You know that I couldn’t care less about sports. I’m still glad to see Indiana considers knitting hats and giving out yarn as an enhancement to a big event! They’re hosting the NBA All-Star game and added a knitting aspect to it. Check out “Nothing But Knit”
Canadian Rockies newspaper, the Rocky Mountain Goat has an article on a circular knitting display in a local museum. The display lets visitors actually crank out a toque of their own!
The BBC reports that Gloucestershire England has a new display of knitting monks performing various activities.
Northern New York State newspaper announces the winners of a sweater knitting contest with some stunningly beautiful entries.

Current Knitting
I’m making great progress on the Tilt Cardigan.
Once I made it past the section where I was doing two different sets of stitch reductions, it’s been a bit easier to knit without intense concentration. Now I only have to pay attention to the front section decreases each round, and I’ve got it mapped out so I can knit relatively easily without much thought.
I may actually finish this garment by May to show it off at the Men’s Spring Knitting Retreat!
Even with the simpler knitting going forward, I stared an even simpler project.
This is just a simple garter stitch stole in two beautiful yarns. I’m in no hurry to finish this. I’ll work on it at a leisurely pace when my eyes are tired.
