Today’s photo is a photo of an established Rhododendron bloom. It reminds me that this cold weather won’t last forever.

For a number of years, Thaddeus and I would travel to some place warm in the middle of February.  A week in Cancun would break up the worst part of the Winter, leaving only a few more weeks of harsh weather to go before Spring.  This is the blog equivalent of the hope that brought me each year.
