Years ago I took a panoramic photo of the winning organic vegetables at a local 4-H fair.  The colors and brightness of the display made me happy.

On a recent trip to our new grocery store in town, I was reminded of how cheerful a nice display of vegetables can be.  Multi-colored beets and carrots in with all the lovely greenery just makes me happy. No, I’m not a vegetarian. And I don’t always buy organic vegetables. But, like most adults, I have come to find I enjoy good, fresh vegetables. They nourish me in ways much more fully than physically. No?
