What’s Happening Here Wednesday – August 2020
It’s the last Wednesday of August, so it’s time to make shit up. Give it your best shot at “What’s happening here?”
Two Ways to Participate in What’s Happening Here Wednesday
I loved the premier episode of this game. The readers here are dark and twisted. You fit right in. And you far surpassed any expectations I had about coming up with Jean-Luc Picard stories.
Feel free to interpret the photo above in the scenario you think is happening. Leave a comment. Or comment on social media.
You can also submit photos for future “What’s Happening Here” blog entries.
I’m always looking for photos I can use for this. But they come around more less frequently than I would have guessed. So feel free to submit interesting photos we can ponder on my contact form. Let me know who to credit for the photo (or note that no credit is necessary). Today’s photo is credited to John O’Connell.
Can’t wait to see what shit you all make up for today’s photo.
Current Knitting
I made a tiny bit of progress on my craft show hat inventory.
I understand how pathetic that is since Monday, but I did start a new crochet project.
This will eventually be a triangular shawl from a pattern called April Showers by Erica Fedor. Mine is in a finer gauge yarn and a different size hook (fingering weight and hook size I). And I started out with quite a few more chain stitches than the pattern calls for.
I’m already confused about the start of the second row, so we’ll see how this goes.
This is what happens when you show up to the Carbohydrates Anonymous rehab center and the staff goes through your bag.
Ah my Nonni caught me leaving for the new school year, found the “store-bought trash” in my bag, boxed my ears and carted me off for my a real meal.
You are barred from ever traveling to and knitting in Italy. The sin of boxed pasta.
