I’ve been fortunate to spend a lot of virtual time these past few months with some amazing men in the men’s knitting community. So, one of those guys is Jamie McCanless. He’s a long-time knitter and designer. And I’ve also just finished one of his patterns and started a second. I thought you all might want to meet him and find out a little more about him.

Current Knitting
Just started work on Jamie’s Hallgrim Scarf.
I’m using a more textured yarn than the original pattern is done in. But it seems to be working well. It’s Katmandu DK weight yarn from the Queensland Collection in colour 403. It’s 85% Merino Wool, 10% Silk, and 5% Cashmere.

I, too, enjoyed the interview with Jamie and will be watching for new designs by him from now on. I love the Hallgrim Scarf, will be buying the pattern today and casting on as soon as I search my stash.
