Just Vote
Apologies in advance to the non-U.S. readers of QueerJoe. But for the folks here, just vote! All should vote, but here it’s very important!
Why Just Vote?
If you’re asking that here, you’re probably very new to reading QueerJoe. And you’re probably reading the wrong knitting blog.
We have three huge priorities that need addressing by the leadership in my country:
- Cimate change
- Pandemic response
- Restoring rule of law and Democracy
There are also significant civil rights issue that need LOTS of attention. And healthcare. Oh, and the judicial system.
It’s going to take a ton of work to make this country good…never mind great.
It always amazes me that there’s anyone that would want to be president of the United States. Way more work and worry than I would ever want to take on. So when two people who have been serving our country for decades, who know what’s involved actually want the job, the least I can do is vote for them. So, I have. Please do so as well.
And all the people down-ballot who will support them in this Herculean effort.
So, if you haven’t voted. Please make sure you do. If you have any questions about how, check here.
Current Knitting
Having pushed hard to complete the Primordial Sworls Wrap, I focused on the Shaker Rib Cardigan.
I’ve finished the back and started the right side of the front.
I have decided to use the yellow as the accent color. I made two pocket linings and will make the button band and the pocket edging in that yarn.
I’m hopeful it will look okay.
Glad you selected the yellow. A burst of sunshine.
Yellow and grey are one of my favorite design color pairings ❤️
So glad to have gotten my voting done early.
Already voted. Phew.

Thank you, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!
The Keystone State seems to have come through for those in the USA who have similar political inclinations to mine.
However, as we well know, it ain’t over till it’s over.
