QueerJoe Being Busy

It’s my preferred state…QueerJoe being busy. But not always the preferred state for some of the people with whom I interact. Including blog readers.

And Why Is QueerJoe Being So Busy…

…you may ask? Well, here’s what I’m up to:

Knitting With QueerJoe – LIVE

Some have asked for a way to interact with me, so I’ll try it.

This one is difficult to make decisions about. My preference in most blog/vlog-related tasks is to be spontaneous. But to plan some sort of live option with questions and answers from readers, would require scheduling and set up and a lot of announcing. I would hate to try and set something up to have little or no one attend.

So I’ve scheduled a Knitting With QueerJoe – LIVE session for next Saturday, January 30, 2021. I’ll take any and all questions about knitting, designing, blogging, LGBTQIA issues.  I’ll also be announcing the “Virtual Craft Show” web site.

Please add it to your calendar and join me next week…else, I may appear pathetic.

We’ll see how it goes!

Daily Men’s Fiber Zoom Meetup

For those who don’t know, I host a daily meet-up on Zoom for any guys into fiber-arts. The Zoom accounts are paid for and sponsored by The Perfect Purl (awesome web-yarn-store…I get all my Urth Yarns and Lykke Interchangeable Needles from them). The Perfect Purl actually has two Zoom channel meet-ups that are open 7-Days a week, 24-Hours a day (they are only hosted at specific times):

Virtual Craft Show Website

I finally decided to inventory and put price tags on all my craft show inventory to sell. I have a LOT. And the earliest I will have a craft show is NOVEMBER!

So, I’ve opted to set up a virtual craft show web site where I will sell items. While a formal announcement will be made for a “Grand Opening”, the site is up and functional now at https://doublepointed.com/.  Feel free to check it out and offer any feedback, ideas or questions.

Thank-You Notes

Yes, I’m late…but they’re almost all in the mail.

Current Knitting

Finally, I’ve done very little knitting. I added another inch onto the first sleeve of the Shaker Rib Cardigan (just look at my latest photo of it…it hasn’t changed much).

I also got distracted with another Knitted Cross Stitch Scarf.

Not my typical colorway, but there are those that prefer these bright yellows and oranges and reds.

And it’s making me happy.
