Hive Mind Helped!
I reached out in my last blog post and on Facebook. And lo and behold, the hive mind helped.
The Hive Mind Helped – This Time
Despite all the colorwork I do, there are certain circumstances where I really suck at picking colors. Sometimes I’m pretty confident and know I’m choosing the best colorway. Other times (as with the stripe in this headband), I have no idea what I’m doing.
Don’t get me wrong. There were a lot of differing opinions about which color I should go with. Including the option I kept coming up with…”they all suck.”
But when I tallied all the preferences. And knit using the hive mind’s preferred color. The result was quite good.
Since this is the Activity Headband, I made it reversible. Just in case.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.
Thank you for all your advice and input on this one.
Having finished the headband, I finally got back to the half-finger gloves that I started a while ago.
I finished the first (right-hand) glove and started the second (left-hand) glove.
At this point in my craft show inventory, I have plenty of hats, scarves and shawls/wraps. I will increase the number of gloves and headbands over the next few months.
