Finn Blog Contest Winners!
Thank you to everyone who entered the contest of how many photos of Finn there were in the video montage. Here are the Finn Blog Contest Winners.
Lots of Entries…Only Three Winners Of The Finn Blog Contest
Congratulations to the following winners:
- 3rd Prize (one free pattern from my DoublePointed Design – your choice) – Charity
- 2nd Prize (free library of all my DoublePointed Design Patterns) – Jean
- 1st Prize (Any QueerJoe handknit hat on my Craft Show web site) – Sylvie
I have sent out e-mails to the winners to either get their choice of prize, and/or get their RavID to award their prizes. Thanks again to all who watched and played.
Please also note that you helped gain ground toward me reaching 4,000 viewing hours (in the last 365 days) on my YouTube Channel.
On most days, there are fewer than 10 viewing hours on my channel…this spike shows the impact you had last week. Thanks to all who helped. Your efforts were much appreciated.
Believe it or not, that huge spike has only brought me to 3,500 hours (up from about 3,300). So I still have some hours to increase before I reach the YouTube milestone of 4,000 hours in the last 365 days.
That will be a glorious day for me!
Current Knitting
I kind of floundered a bit after finishing the second Usonian Shawl. I had purchased some Uneek Fingering yarn at Twist the other week.
It was initially going to be a Primordial Sworls Shawl. But I was thinking I have enough larger/higher-priced shawls for the craft shows. So I decided to go back to “signature knitting”.
Yes, these yarns are making a very colorful version of the Knitted Cross Stitch Scarf.
You’ll also note, I’m on the multiple-wrap row in the photo above, and I’m using a US10.5 (6.5mm) needle so I only have to wrap the needle twice.
I was so glad to have gotten this trick from a blog reader. It makes these scarves fly off the needles.
Wow. Thanks for picking me! I can’t wait to try and make the lizard scarf. Thank you!
