Everyone Needs a Chicken
Especially when it’s beautiful and hand-knit and stuffed. Yes, everyone needs a chicken that requires very little care and no feeding.
Fred and Knitting Tree LA Say That Everyone Needs A Chicken
Fred, a Facebook knitting friend posted a few photos of stuffed chickens he’s made recently. They were quite beautiful. The pattern comes as part of a kit from Knitting Tree LA. So, of course, I had to order my own!
If you don’t want to watch the short video, here are some photos of my Emotional Support Chicken, Dolly PartHEN.

And here are some of Fred’s completed chicken photos that he’s posted.

Now if you’re someone like Joyce Vance, who both knits and raises chickens, would this be of any interest?

I was able to finish the latest Anica Shawl. There are even some decent photos of it that almost show off how beautiful it is.

It turned out to be a rather large shawl – 16″ x 64″. Again, this is the Anica Shawl by Alina Appasova. I made it using Bugga yarn by the Verdant Gryphon in a colorway called Firefly Hunt. It seems as though they’re now selling this yarn as Dragonfly Fibers.
Another Fred who knits! How can this be? Must investigate. Thanks, Joe.
I got my emotional support chicken pattern on Ravelry. Luckily, I have tons of perfect leftovers. Here’s the link if you need the pattern too!
