Annual Checkup
April is usually the month I have my annual checkup and make sure I’m dealing well with all things physical. Seems that I am.
Time For Annual Checkup
One minor tweak to a medication, a recommendation to schedule a 2027 colonoscopy now and a possible dermatology referral. At age 67 I’m fine with that. I love my doctor. She told me my annual exam is boring and ordinary in most ways. We both agreed it was a good thing to be boring in this arena.
Most 67 year olds I know grew up “working on their tan” every Summer. I don’t think SPF ever touched my skin until I was at least in my forties. At least not deliberately. So I guess it’s probably a good thing to be seeing a dermatologist. I’ll keep you updated.
Current Knitting
With doctors visits (both mine and Thaddeus’) and retreat preparations, I haven’t done a lot of knitting.

The hat has grown a bit and I’m pretty sure the workshop swatch is even smaller than it was on Monday’s blog.
But I have have cut out 512 individual pieces of neon card stock with clever knitting phrases on them.

And no, I didn’t use the good fabric scissors. Do you think I’m an animal?!?

Good news. Seeing a dermatologist is probably a good idea for those of us who grew up in lots of sun exposure. ☀️
Yeah, same age as you, spent youth in the sun with baby oil and aluminum foil. I’ve had a couple of pre-cancerous spots frozen, and I see the dermatologist once a year for a full skin-check. Like you, I stay on top of my medical issues. I want to be able to work through my stash.
