I live in a really beautiful area. Despite this image of an apparent “hole” right outside where I live, it’s not typically so unsightly.

A Hole Requiring a Large Sign

This hand-painted sign on composite board has been decorating the front corner of my complex for about a week now. I haven’t checked out the size of it, but I can’t imagine it requires a sign quite this large. I definitely wouldn’t want anyone falling into some cavernous ditch. But at the same time, I’m grateful I’m not trying to sell my house right now. I’m also grateful that I’m not a real estate agent looking to show off this beautiful area to a prospective buyer.

This intersection has had a lot of work being done on it for a while now. Overall, the intersection is much more functional for both vehicular traffic and foot and bicycle traffic as well. I will be glad to see it’s completion.

First-world problems…I know. Anything interesting happening around where you live?

Current Crochet/Spinning

I made a tiny bit of progress on my current thermal crochet beanie.

I got distracted when I was doing a bit of reorganization of my stash and found a bag of roving.

This is some mohair/shetland blend wool I bought from Mindy. I’m spinning it up in the thickest singles I can force myself to make.

I’d love to end up with a bulky yarn when all is said and done, but that may require that I triple-ply my singles.
