Until Next Week – Finn One Last Morning Brushing

Many of you know that Finn comes down to get a brushing almost every morning. It’s a routine and he’s insistent about it.

When I’m gone, you’d think he’d go to Thaddeus and annoy him until he got a brushing but he doesn’t.

One of the things I love about a daily brushing for a cat is that their fur stays soft and smooth even into old age. Finn’s getting up there in age (we’re not sure how old he is), but his fur is soft and silky.

I’ll also miss the daily ritual while I’m away. It makes my soul a little soft and silky too…even at my advanced age.

Current Knitting

I started a new hat over the weekend that I’ll bring with me to the NorthEast Men’s Fall Knitting Retreat.

It’s got a double-layer, folded brim, but it’s not an Activity Cap. I just left off the shaping that covers the back of the neck.
