Revaxxed!

Both Thaddeus and I decided we’d prefer to be revaxxed for COVID-19, so we headed to our local CVS to get poked.

Revaxxed For COVID-19

Like most sane people, Thaddeus and I are both pro-vaccine. With recent updates to the mRNA COVID vaccine, we decided to get the most recent version. The scheduling of the vaccine coincided nicely with my schedule to visit my mom.

I also get to check with my mom if I’ve ever been vaccinated for measles. I’m pretty certain I was, but I’ll have her confirm.

I can’t imagine there are any anti-vaxxers in my readership, but if you are and you’re reading this, I’d like to suggest that you reconsider your position on vaccines.

Current Knitting

I was able to finish the first open-finger glove (including weaving in all ends).

I’ve also finished the ribbing on the second glove and just barely started the thumb gusset.

  1. I’ll be getting shots soon. I’ve been hearing about the wonderful Men’s Knitting Retreat from Bob. So glad Jay could attend too.
That color of your fingerless mitts is fantastic. What is the yarn and color way?
Best wishes for almost October and fall.

  2. I’m scheduled for both Covid and Flu shots the end of October at our local Senior Center. A couple of my friends are cautioning against it, saying I could have long-delayed reactions but they can’t tell me what they are. Of course, these are also the friends who are “USA USA Always Right, Never Wrong” and one of them wears a red tin foil hat as well. But in a small community of 16000 there are only so many who are a knitter, and/or mah jongg player, and/or board gamer. At 78 my active contemporaries are becoming fewer and fewer.
