Writing pattern designs for knitted garments will always have its challenges.  But one of those challenges should NOT be finding common ways of defining the resources and instructions for how to knit your design.  Organizations such as the Craft Yarn Council (www.YarnStandards.com) have attempted to standardize some aspects of knitting. But I’d say they haven’t gone quite far enough.

So, hopefully these web pages will help consolidate us under one common set of criteria when it comes to:
